Geoff Klep
Principal
I really enjoy being able to come to work each day at St. Patrick’s. I feel privileged to be able to lead this community on a journey of continual growth and improvement. I feel blessed to work alongside such a professional, hard working and committed staff, a fantastically supportive parent community and wonderful students who make our school such a great place to be part of. When I’m not at school I enjoy 4WDing, camping, football and spending time with my family and friends.

I have worked for St. Patrick’s School for 11 years. Our school has a dedicated team whom are wonderful to work with. Our students show compassion and support for one another. It just has a fabulous community. When I’m not at school I love to travel and see Australia.

I’m so excited to be part of the St Patrick’s community. The teachers and families are so welcoming which makes me look forward to coming to work each day. It truly is a beautiful school and community. When I’m not at school, I love watching my girls play netball and going to watch the Hawks play. I’m also a crazy cat lady with 4 beautiful cats.

St Patrick’s is a wonderful place to be a teacher and I enjoy watching the students learn, particularly in Prep where the students grow and develop so much in their first year at school. Outside of school, I enjoy going to the football to watch the mighty Hawks win!

Lenore Cogan

I feel so fortunate to be part of the St. Patrick’s community—it’s a truly welcoming place that provides well-rounded support for students and their families. I love watching students learn, grow, and interact with one another in such a kind and caring way. As a school, we are always striving to improve and follow effective teaching methods, making it an incredibly rewarding environment to be part of.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my daughters, Mollie and Matilda, and our two Cavoodles, Bella and Scarlet. I’m a big fan of Mexican food! I have also been involved in calisthenics since I was 3 (a long time ago!)

I am a Year Three/Four classroom teacher and have been an educator for many years. I feel that our school is an amazing community filled with enthusiastic students, supportive parents and staff. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, going for walks with our dogs and holidays to the beach in our caravan.

Dave Gallacher

I feel incredibly lucky to be part of a small, close-knit school community where everyone knows each other and genuinely looks out for one another. There’s something special about coming to work at St Patrick’s each day, knowing the students will bring something new, funny, or surprising to the day. I really enjoy watching the students grow in their learning and confidence, and I especially love the opportunities we get to learn outside the classroom, like school camps. I revel in a bit of friendly football banter with the children and enjoy spending weekends at the MCG cheering on the Blues. Outside of school, I enjoy playing cricket, watching just about any sport, walking my greyhound, and spending time with my family.

I feel extremely lucky to be a part of the wonderful community at St Patrick’s. I enjoy seeing such a love of learning on the students’ faces when they are engaged in activities that challenge and interest them. Outside of school I like to spend time with my family and catch up with my friends.

I have enjoyed working at St Patrick’s for a number of years and find it to be a wonderful and welcoming environment. It’s great seeing the children make connections in their learning and get excited about new ideas. When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my husband and cats, drinking tea or trying new brunch places.

As Numeracy Leader, I love seeing all our students develop their Maths skills, take risks, challenge themselves and try new strategies, and grow in confidence as mathematicians. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, walking and overseas travel with family and friends.

Teaching is a profession that brings so much joy and fulfilment to my life as I am able to help my students grow as learners and as people. I aim to make a difference to my student’s lives by supporting them throughout their learning journey, encouraging them to do their best and challenging them to take the next step. I aspire to build positive connections with my students, and to create a calm environment where they feel safe and happy to learn.
I am a mum to a little boy and I have a three year old Golden Retriever, who both keep me very busy. I love doing reformer Pilates, going on walks in the sunshine and spending time with my friends and family.

I feel lucky to be part of a school that is always looking to improve and make sure we’re giving our students the best possible opportunities to grow and succeed.
Outside of school, I love spending time with family and friends, relaxing with a good book, or getting along to the footy to cheer on the mighty Pies.

Emma Speer
Visual Arts Teacher
I believe that imagination and divergent thinking skills are paramount in our ever-changing world, and I am excited by the task of supporting students to become critical and creative thinkers. I enjoy challenging students to try new things, without fear of ‘getting it wrong’. In the words of French artist Henri Matisse, ‘creativity takes courage’, and it is a privilege to watch the students at St. Patrick’s demonstrate both courage and creativity every day.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. When I get time for artmaking, I enjoy painting, drawing, sewing and creating.
I have a keen interest in Art History and relish the chance to discuss famous artists and artworks with others.

Outside of school, I craft using a few different mediums and have been involved in several local and overseas projects.

I love the relationship I share with both the students and staff at Saint Pats, this makes for a very enjoyable job. Outside of school I love to spend my time listening to music, gardening or getting away to either the beach or the mountains.

Cassandra Black

St Patrick’s is a positive and supportive environment, and I feel very lucky to be a part of this community. I love working both one-on-one with the students and in small groups as it allows me the opportunity to watch them grow throughout the year.
Outside of St Pat’s, I spend most of my free time coaching calisthenics (a life-long passion), walking my dog or reading a good book.

Charlie Cussons

It’s a privilege to be part of such a wonderful school community. As a Learning Support Officer, I am a collaborative partner in a student’s education. I work alongside teachers, parents, and students to build a support system that celebrates every small victory and navigates challenges together. My favorite part of the job is working closely with students, both individually and in small groups, building connections and supporting them as they learn and grow throughout the year. Being a part of this positive and welcoming school community is something I truly appreciate. I strive to create an inclusive environment where every student feels valued, respected, and an important part of our school community. Outside of school I enjoy reading, exercising, F1 motorsport, spending time with my friends and family and doing woodworking projects with my uncle.

I am very happy to be part of the St Patrick’s community! It is a great learning environment with a caring and positive feel. Outside of school, I love getting outside for walks and hikes and exploring different places. When I’m at home, I love to bake and read. Spending time with family is my favourite time!

Cate Ramsden

It is great to be part of the St Patrick’s community! I thoroughly enjoy working with staff, students and parents to support student learning and wellbeing. Outside of school, I teach karate and enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I also love going for walks, seeing a musical and travelling around Australia.
